Andrew niquette


As a millennial, Andrew has taken a strong passion to politics. After being a vital LGBT activist in South Georgia, Andrew got his start in politics in early 2016, when he was elected as one of the nation's youngest National Delegates to the Democratic National Convention, pledged to Senator Bernie Sanders. He also served as a Whip of the Georgia Delegation and Chair of the Senator Sander's LGBT Delegation. Following the 2016 primaries, Andrew joined on board as a Field Organizer, eventually being promoted to Deputy Regional Organizing Director, for the Democratic National Committee and Hillary For America in South Florida. In November of 2016, Andrew kicked off his 2018 campaign for Georgia State House of Representatives in District 154, where he would remain dedicated to initiating change in South Georgia. In September of 2017, Andrew suspended his campaign for State House to join on as Campaign Manager for Lisa Ring for Congress. Andrew also serves as President of Our Revolution Savannah, State Committeeman of Our Revolution Georgia, Vice Chair of the College Democrats of America Progressive Caucus, National Board Member of the Young Democrats of America Southeast Region, and the Chairman of the Liberty County Minority Chamber LGBT Council. 



John Ring


"It makes me proud to see Lisa running for Congress, Lisa has been my political mentor for many years. Lisa has always supported me with, military training, job training, and business ventures. I will assist and support Lisa in her run for Congress".

John currently serves as the Chairman of the Democratic Party of Georgia's Veterans and Military Families Caucus. John is also elected to the State Committee for the Democratic Party of Georgia and serves as the 2nd Vice Chair of the Bryan County Democratic Committee. In 2016, John was the Chief of Staff for a DNC Chair Candidate. John currently serves in the Georgia Army National Guard as an Infantryman. He is a union member and currently a Conductor - RCO Engine Operator for Norfolk Southern. He also has background in law enforcement, working in Nuclear Security and Corrections. John also volunteers as a youth mentor for his local middle school helping troubled youth. 





Rory is from Henry County, and after graduating high school, he became politically active. Rory began his political journey by working on the campaign for "Andrew for Georgia". When Andrew suspended his campaign to join on with team Lisa Ring, Rory also joined. Rory has assisted in various roles to meet the needs of the campaign including social media, candidate assistance, and scheduling. Rory is assisting with our field operations throughout the entire 1st district.



Dr. Selena travis


Doctor Selena Travis is a native of Savannah, Georgia. She is a retired law enforcement officer and a retired educator in Savannah, Georgia. Selena worked at the Chatham County Jail as a Sheriff’s Deputy for many years as a Supervisor and an Internal Affairs Investigator. As a Deputy, she obtained her Business Administration Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Leo University. Seeking different ways to make an impression upon Savannah's youth, she left law enforcement to become an educator for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System.  As an educator, she enjoyed teaching various students with exceptional gifts and talents. During her years as an educator, she was selected by her peers as Teacher of the Year to represent her school. While making a difference with our youth, she obtained her Master’s Degree in Education from Armstrong State University, and she acquired a Doctoral Degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University. She is a volunteer for the Savannah Police Department and a Ruffian for the RUFF (Retirees United For our Future) nonprofit organization. Selena is married to Anthony Travis. She has three adult daughters, Chaquita Wheeler, Lameisha Wheeler, and Shanee Travis, and one adult son, Dontrae Wheeler, who is married to Erin Wheeler.

Bridget Gardiner


Bridge Gardiner has a degree in accounting and business, helping her to foster growth through accurate budgeting and forecasting of revenue models. As Studio Manager and Director of Finance for a recording studio for 9 years, and Campus President at a multimedia college for 5 years, Bridge has been instrumental in shaping the next generation of taste-makers. She is the CEO and founder of Buddha Global Consulting, LLC and COO and co-founder of Established in 2006, Buddha Global is a global networking and business development company that focuses and consults on project management and marketing in the creative and tech industries. Bridge has served on the board of various non-profits such as AIDS WALK, Women In Music,, Savannah Pride, and



Rich walczak


Born and raised in Philadelphia PA, Rich’s adventurous spirit and desire to learn allowed him to obtain his Bachelors of Business Administration & Digital Media from Albright College as well as a Masters of Communications & Journalism and a Masters of Public Relations & Advertising from Bond University in Queensland Australia.  Having spent most of his life as a nomad and travel lover, Rich has lived all over the world including the Gold Coast of Australia, London, Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Cruz and most recently calling Savannah home.  Utilizing his heavy background in the creative media industry Rich has launched his new marketing and events company called Creatish Media and also serves on the Board of Directors for Savannah Pride and Tybee Island Mermaid Festival. He is excited to become a part of Team Ring and looks forward to being a part of making a much needed positive change to our community and beyond.
